Welcome to the 2012 Eau Claire Triathlon

Registration for the 2012 Eau Claire Triathlon is open!

On June 10, 2012 Eau Claire will host its third annual sprint distance triathlon. Since our first race two years ago, beginners and veteran triathletes alike have used our race as a great way to get their summers started with a bang! Competitors have the opportunity to compete individually or as part of a team. The race course includes a swim in Halfmoon Lake, a bike ride through the rolling hills of western Wisconsin countryside, and a run through historic Carson Park. Sign up early, limited entries available!

Our Cause

When we dreamed of bringing a triathlon to Eau Claire, we wanted to create a first class event, that inspired people to become physically active, and most importantly, raised money to support Friends of the Orphans, a non-profit organization whose mission we strongly believe in.

Thanks to the generosity of you, the participants, and all of our wonderful sponsors we were able to meet our goal, and donated $10,000 to Friends in 2010. Over 200 people competed individually or as part of a team.

Last year, we wanted to continue supporting Friends but also recognized the importance of supporting our own community. Again, because of your participation, support, and generosity, we were able to donate over $17,000 to Friends, and also $1,000 to The Chippewa Valley Free Clinic. Nearly 300 people competed individually or as part of a team.

This year, because of your continued support, we pledge to donate $1,500 to The Chippewa Valley Free Clinic and an additional $1,500 to another great local organization - the B-Side Community. All of the remaining proceeds will benefit Friends. Thank you for your support!
