Directions to the Race
The Eau Claire Triathlon will be held at Halfmoon Park.
Need directions?
Packet Pickup
Packets will be available for pickup on Saturday, June 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Halfmoon Park. If the weather does not cooperate, packets will be available for pick up at the Metropolis Hotel in Eau Claire. See our website on Saturday for further updates.
UPDATE (6/12): Packet pickup will be held Saturday, June 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Halfmoon Park.
Packets are also available for pick-up from 6:30 to 7:30 AM at Halfmoon Park the morning of the race.
Timing
This event will be chip timed by Pickle Events.
Parking
Parking is available for participants on a first come first serve basis in Luther Hospital Lots 14 and 15. If you wish to park in these lots, you must arrive before 7:30 AM. No cars will be allowed to enter or leave these lots between 7:45 AM and 10:00 AM. All cars must enter through the Cameron Street entrance to Lot 15 (no entry will be allowed via Whipple Street). Volunteers will be present to help coordinate the process.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ANY LUTHER HOSPITAL PARKING LOT BESIDES LOTS 14 AND 15!
Street Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods. We recommend that you car pool if possible.

Rules
All USAT rules must be followed and will be enforced. Important rules to note are listed below:
- A helmet must be worn with the chin strap buckled at all times while you are seated on your bicycle.
- No riding your bicyle while in the transition area.
- Headphones are not allowed during the bike portion of the race. Headphones will be allowed while completing the run portion of the race.
- Drafting is not allowed. Three bike lengths must be kept between you and the rider in front of you at all times, except while passing.
- No glass containers allowed in the transition area at any time for any reason.
- All Participants must be at least 15 years old to participate as an individual.
- Participants may be younger than 15 yeas old and participate on a team with two adults.

Awards
Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers as well as the winner of each age division. Team awards will be given to the overall team winner.
All awards will be presented at 11:15 AM. No awards will be mailed. If the winner cannot attend the ceremony, awards can be picked up at Cornerstone Management, Inc.
Photos
Quinn Productions, a Minneapolis based photography and video design company, will be taking high quality pictures on race day. If you choose to purchase any of these pictures, a portion of the proceeds will support Friends of the Orphans.
Post Race Party
Come and join us for the post race celebration! Everyone is welcome. Food, drinks, and music provided by our sponsors will be free for all participants and volunteers.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather the following procedures will be followed:
- The race will be postponed until 9:00 AM.
- If the weather has improved, the race will proceed as planned.
- If the weather has not improved, the race will be canceled.
- If the the race is canceled due to poor weather all participants will receive a 50% credit toward a 2011 race entry.
- No refunds will be issued if the race is canceled due to inclement weather.
